Speaking and Teaching
Lisa Rowe Fraustino, a winner of the Trustees Teaching Award for the Connecticut State University System, has experience at every level of education and in multiple genres, from teaching a preschool phys-ed class one term (really!) to seven years of fifth grade English to twenty years of graduate creative writing workshops. As a Fulbright Scholar she has even taught in Thailand and Taiwan. She has also published in multiple genres for both children and adults, from picture books and poems to novels and essays.
Lisa can speak to school groups, writers, or children’s literature professionals on a wide range of topics in various formats, from entertaining presentations on the writer’s life to lectures or workshops on specific aspects of craft, theory, or pedagogy.
