I didn’t even know what it was called when the elegant design caught my eye, but of course after I noticed the title it seemed like fate, my being a learned professor and all.

This site is still definitely under construction and subject to revision, so please do let me know your thoughts on what else you’d like to see posted or how I can improve what’s already here.

Jeff and I arrived today at our log cabin on Sebec Lake in Bowerbank, Maine. This will be the first summer in many years that we’re taking off from teaching and world travels. We’re looking forward to getting some work done on the house as wells as on our creative projects. And we’re also planning a big party for my parents’ 5oth wedding anniversary.
